Inscription. In memory of beloved husband Joseph E. Darlak, SKIc, 30th Naval Construction Battalion, World War II.
 
Erected 2008 by Dorothy C. Darlak Fund, Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.
 
Location. 43° 2.337′ N, 78° 53.224′ W. Marker is in North Tonawanda, New York, in Niagara County. Marker is on River Road (New York State Route 266) 0.2 miles north of Wheatfield Street (New York State Route 429), on the left when traveling north. Click for map. Memorial is in Fisherman's Park which is sandwiched between River Road and the east branch of the Niagara River. Memorial is at the U.S. Navy Seebee Veterans memorial. Marker is in this post office area: North Tonawanda NY 14120, United States of America.
