1. 1696 Massey House Marker
Inscription. Thomas Massey left England on the ketch "Endeavor" arriving at Upland (Chester) 1683. Married Phebe Taylor 1692, bought 900 acres in Marple Township and build this brick house in 1696.
 
Erected 1978 by Penn's Grant Chapter National Society Colonial Dames XVII century.
