Army of the Tennessee.


This battery, with two guns, was engaged here from
11.30 a.m. to 12 m. April 6, 1862 when it retired to right
of siege guns.


 
Erected by Shiloh National Military Park Commission. (Marker Number 56.)
 
Location. 35° 8.751′ N, 88° 20.843′ W. Marker is near Shiloh, Tennessee, in Hardin County. Marker is on Sherman Road 0.1 miles south of Cavalry Road, on the left when traveling south. Click for map.
