Inscription.

Engaged in airlift of cargo and personnel vital to the invasion forces, and in air evacuation of wounded from the Continent to England in the European Theater of Operations -- 1943-1945

The 314th Transport Squadron took part in five campaigns from shortly after D-Day
Normandy--Northern France--Ardennes
Rhineland--Central Europe

Especially to be remembered are those who gave their lives during these missions.
