Jesus Nazarene of Candelaria
commemorate the grand, verified pilgrimage of
Sunday, March 3, 1963
to these ruins, with the image of
Jesus Nazarene of Candelaria,
in celebration of its 400th anniversary
Guatemala, March 3, 1964

 
Location. 14° 33.79′ N, 90° 43.73′ W. Marker is in Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez. Marker is on 1ra Avenida Norte just north of Calle Ancha de los Herreros, on the right when traveling north. Click for map. The marker is mounted to the right side of the ruins of the Candelaria Catholic Church.
