Thomas Alva Edison Memorial Tower | Additional Description: View of the Thomas Edison Memorial Tower showing the maintenance and access door. When the tower was built, huge amplifiers powered loudspeakers at the base and at the top of the tower that played chimes. There was even an organ installed in the tower as well.
