Photographer: Bill Coughlin
Taken: October 5, 2013
Caption: British Dead at the Battle of Germantown
Additional Description: The troops of Gen. Anthony Wayne used the rallying cry “Remember Paoli!” during the October 4, 1777 Battle of Germantown. British dead from that battle are seen here at the Chew mansion, which saw some of the fiercest fighting of the battle.
