The Good of Goats
Most likely domesticated between 8,000 and 7,000 BC, goats are bred for food, wool and other products.
That's Wild!
The wild bezoar goat is one of the ancestors of today's domestic goats. It inhabits the rocky mountain slopes of Asia and the Middle East and has larger horns than most kinds of domestic goats.
Look at This!
Goats have rectangular pupils—this allows them to see very well in the dark.
