As we were in 1938 complete with a "Hershey Ice Cream" Shop.

In front of the present day Visitors Center — the famous "Barton House" — or "Ben Beans" stage inn, (dating back to the 1818 era of the "Pike"). Luminaries of the nation such as Henry Clay, Andrew Jackson, William Henry Harrison & others stayed here.
