Marker One: , An open meeting place for a new generation, Antone Pavilion was built to pay tribute to the community’s roots, commemorating the school that once helped build dreams and change the lives of early settlers. After years of sending children to faraway Pleasanton Elementary school, in 1911 families in rural Dublin came together to collect money for a school of their own. With $1,280 in raised funds and land donated by Mr. Antone, a one-room schoolhouse was soon built in 1912.
