1. Site of Virginia Saloon Marker
Inscription. The Virginia Saloon was on of Coloma’s earliest leisure retreats. It is said that James W. Marshall, the discoverer of gold, was among the customers who spent many hours here. Later, Simeon Hunt had a blacksmith shop on this site.
