1. Power & Fleming Grocers Marker

Inscription. Power & Fleming Grocers was located at the northwest corner of Virginia and Marin Streets, c. 1907. The Fleming family owned property on the outskirts of town where they produced fruit, vegetables, dairy, etc. Their goods were brought into town to sell at this store. That part of town where the farm was located, is a neighborhood still known as Flemingtown.
