Se construyó con mampostería burda y su bóveda fue techada con la técnica de piedras saledizas. Por la cerámica encontrada en el escombro que rellenaba este edificio, se le fecha entre 600 y 830 de nuestra era. El edificio 38, que da nombre al conjunto habitacional que lo limita, cubrió en una etapa más tardia a la subestructura 38.
