With sincere and deep appreciation

36th Armored Infantry Regiment
Third Armored Division
place this plaque to commemorate

Clyde Grubb

Clyde took it upon himself to
acquire Army permission to locate
the monument on post and after
a long, arduous and determined
effort, he was able
to obtain permission. He was
assisted by his dear friend,
Sgt. Warren Parks.

Lester Baver

With his own hands, Lester laid the
brick and cut stone and built this
beautiful and everlasting
monument dedicated to our
beloved division.
