English:
An offering of chert knives provided the name for this building, which formed the northern edge of the heart of Edzná. It belongs to the Late Classic period (600-900 A.D.) and is a good example of the Puuc architecture. The construction was covered over with very well carved and fitted stones upon which a thin cover of stucco was applied and painted with several colors, in particular with an intense red. The monolithic columns of the east façade are also typical of the Puuc tradition.

of the central section are roughly made, smaller and correspond to a later period, that is, to the Early Postclassic (1000-1200 A.D.). The building has stairways in the center of its four sides and in the upper part conserves remains of several walls, butts of vaults and benches. It had 20 rooms in total: 12 vaulted (although today none preserve the false arch) and eight which were roofed over with perishable materials.
