1. Jerry Stovall Marker
Inscription. One of the finest all-around players in Tiger history, he was named All-American and finished second in the Heisman Trophy balloting in 1962. Twice named All-SEC, he was a star defensive back for nine years with St. Louis. He served as LSU's head coach for four seasons from 1980 to 1983, leading LSU to the Orange Bowl in 1982 while earning National Coach of the Year honors.
