One of the greatest running backs in SEC history, he was the 1977 SEC Player of the Year and finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy balloting in 1978.A two-time All-American he set nine SEC records and topped 27 LSU marks. He rushed for more than 4,000 yards with 40 TDs. He played seven seasons in the NFL for Cincinnati, including Super Bowl XVI.
