Hier stand Ende des 17. Jahr-
hunderts das Palais Aspremont.
In diesem Gebäude verweilte
während seiner mehrmaligen
Wiener Aufenthalte in den
1690er Jahren
Fürst Ferenc Rákóczi II.
der nachher an der Spitze des
ungarischen Freiheitskampfes
1703-1711 stand.

[English translation:]
Here at the end of the 17th Century stood the Palais Aspremont. During the 1690s, Prince Francis II Rákóczi spent time in this building on his several visits to Vienna, and later became the leader of the Hungarian War of Independence, 1703-1711.
