Ronnie Eugene Norris.
He was the son of Thomas and Martha Norris and a graduate of Greer High School - the class of 1965. Ronnie gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country in Vietnam on December 27, 1966.
Whether my life and death are for peace and a new hope, or for nothing, I cannot say. It is you who must say this. I leave you my death. Give it its meaning. I was young. I gave my life. Remember me.

Thomas Eugene Norris, 77, of 12 Ingleby St., died Oct. 22, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Greenville County, ason of the late Bub and Lucille Kirby Norris, he was a retired employee of Carotel Paper Co.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Yeargin Norris, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Vickie Norris, of Easley; three daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Roy Brady of Greer, Debra and Ron Willocks of Maryville, Tenn., and Vickie L. Norris of Greer; three brothers, Bruce Norris and Norman Norris, both of Pelham, and Bob Norris of Greer; three sisters, Louise Carpenter and Margaret Tinsley, both of Greer,

2. Ronnie Eugene Norris Remembrance Fountain Marker
Mr. Norris was predeceased by one son, Ronnie Eugene Norris; one grandson, Adam Vincent Norris; two brothers, Albert Norris and Floyd Norris; and one sister, Betty Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Leonard, the Rev. Dave Shorter and the Rev. Kyle Antone. Burial will follow at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Grandchildren will serve as honorary escort.
