1. Pioneer Log Cabin Marker
Inscription. Constructed from hand-hewn longleaf pine logs. Built around 1830 during the settlement of Troup County, Georgia. Moved to its present location in 1959.

Marker can be reached from the intersection of Discovery Parkway and West Harris Street (Georgia Route 18). The marker is located in Callaway Gardens, which charges an admission fee. It is near the end of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Trail (Trail No. 3) that begins at the Discovery Center. Touch for map.
