After the Second Battle of Sackets Harbor on May 29, 1813, Fort Volunteer was rebuilt and connected by earthworks with Forts Virginia and Stark. Fort Volunteer was renamed Fort Pike. Sackets Harbor was not attacked again durig the War or 1812.
