1. David and Frances Cotting Marker
Inscription. This site was known as the Cotting Estate in the mid 1800’s. David Cotting, teacher, editor and lawyer, served as Secretary of State from 1868-1873. He was also a member of the Constitutional Convention. Frances Cotting lived here after her husband’s death in 1874. Cotting Court was built in 2001.
