Regarding Abraham Lincoln - Eighth Judicial District. As per Guy Fraker's research - - Charleston, (Coles County) Illinois was not in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. However, Lincoln had a great amount of his legal business in this county during his Professional career in central Illinois. Therefore, the "Lincoln Circuit Marking Association" thought it appropiate that Cole County needed to be part of the memorial marker program.
