The battery, May 19, served four 6-pounder guns 
and two 12-pounder howitzers on this ridge and 
to the left of this tablet, which marks the 
position of the right gun; the right and center 
sections served their pieces on this ridge, May 20 
and 21; the left section moved to an advanced 
battery the morning of May 20 and returned to 
this line the evening of May 21. The battery moved 
to an advanced position the morning of May 22, 1863.
