Inscription. Malcolm Samuel Weaver was born June 5, 1918 in Center, Texas. He served as an officer in the Army Corps of Engineers, World War II, where he met his wife, Constance Mary Stanley. Malcolm built custom homes and poultry houses throughout East Texas with Weaver Brothers Lumber Co. & the Village Builders. In 1966 he created Town & Country Real Estate. He was involved in many civic organizations including President of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, Center Rotary Club, President of The Sons of the Republic of Texas – Center Chapter & Shelby County Historical Society. Malcolm has been a member of the Farmers Bank Board over fifty years & a life member of the First Christian Church. He love and respect for the people and development of East Texas has always been foremost in his life.
