Inscription.
This Florida Cracker Duplex
Cottage was built in the early 1920s
by Redwood Wharton, Sr., an early
Ponce Park Pioneer, and used for
fishing rentals. In 1941, it became
the home of three generations of
the Edward L. Meyer family.
Mr. Meyer was the last civilian
Lighthouse keeper at the Ponce de
Leon Inlet Light Station.
