"This sculpture is very significant to me. It depicts the importance of transportation to the history of my home county. It is made all the more special because it is installed outside my library in Hagerstown, the place where I dreamed and was inspired to pursue a career in the arts."

The images depicted in this relief are;

a C&O Canal boat with mule team, a Fairchild C-119 Flying Box Car, a circa 1970 Mack RL700 and a Nickle Plate Locomotive.
