Polished black granite reflects the heroism of the passengers and crew of Flight 93. These artifacts bear witness to the courage and the sacrifice of all who perished., Each September 11th, the shadow of Baltimore's World Trade Center aligns with marks engraved in the stone denoting the timeline of that morning's events., Let us remember the value of freedom and the resilience of the human spirit., On September 11, 2011, Governor Martin O'Malley dedicated this memorial to the Marylanders who died, their families, the survivors, the responders, and those who continue to serve.
