1. Thaddeus Kosciusko Marker
Inscription. Thaddeus Kosciusko, a Polish military engineer and volunteer in the American cause, directed the building of fortifications to block the British Invasion.

3. Revolutionary War Cannon
This tripod was used by Continental soldiers to load cannons onto their carriages. It is located along the walking trail at the American River Fortifications stop, not far from the marker.
