2. Cristóbal de Llerena Marker and the additional marker
Cristóbal de Llerena (Santo Domingo, 1541 - 1626) was a Dominican religious, dramatist, musician and professor. He is considered the first dramatist of America. He wrote poetry and dramatic works for ecclesiastical representations. Except for an entremés (a short comic work, usually of one act), his works no longer exist. He was born in the city of Santo Domingo. He became a professor at Santiago de la Paz University and Gorjon University. Besides being a playwright, he was a remarkable musician.
