1. Kyler Homestead Marker

Inscription. Located in the 1796 State Road that followed the Indian Path; Conrad Kyler settled here in 1803. Abe Kyler occupied the log house c. 1820 until he sold to Ed Perks. The adjacent Kyler burial ground (Perks Cemetery) has the oldest marked graves in county, Catherine Pearce 1804 and her brother Conrad 1808.

Erected 2004 by Clearfield County Bicentennial Committee.
