Su pluma es impoluta cuando de ponerle color a los versos se trata. Es poeta, narradora y también cultiva el ensayo y las reseñas de obras de arte. Se desempeñó como consul general de la República Dominicana para el área de Nueva Inglaterra, con sede en Boston, Massachusetts. Tambien fue agregada cultural en el Consulado de la República Dominicana en Miami, y subdirectora de la Biblioteca Nacional, hoy con el nombre del insigne Pedro Henríquez Ureña.

Dentro de sus obras poéticas están De un tiempo a otro tiempo (1978); Palabra Rota (1983); Imagen repetida en múltiples septiembres (1986) y Poniente taciturno (1999). En su bitácora de éxitos está la obra teatral Carrusel de mecedoras (1989), presentada en la Sala Ravelo del Teatro Nacional dirigida por Germana Quintana. En 2016 publicó Nuestras lágrimas saben a mar. Memorias de una hija del general Pupo Román. Sus poemas, ensayos y artículos se han publicado en antologias, diarios y revistas especializadas; su obra ha sido objeto de estudio en círculos académicos internacionales, sobre todo en la Florida, Estados

Sabrina Román
Her pen is untouchable when it comes to putting color to her verses. She is a poet, narrator and also cultivates essays and reviews of works of art. She served as Consul General of the Dominican Republic for the New England area, based in Boston, Massachusetts. She was also Cultural Ataché in the Consulate of the Dominican Republic in Miami, and deputy director of the National Library, today with the name of the insigne Pedro Henríquez Ureña.

Among her poetic works are From One Time to Another Time (1978); Broken Words (1983); An image repeated in multiple Septembers (1986) and Poniente taciturno (1999). In her list of successes is the theatrical work Carousel de rocking chairs (1989), presented at the Sala Ravelo of the National Theater directed by Germana Quintana. In 2016 she published Our Tears Know the Sea: Memories of a daughter of General Pupo Román. Her poems, essays and articles have been published in anthologies, journals and specialized magazines; her work has been the object of study in international academic circles, especially in Florida, United States.
