Este edificio estaba dedicado a la función político-administrativa. En la época prehispánica estas actividades tenían un carácter sagrado y en el Pahñu se relacionaban con Tezcatlipoca Rojo, Tlaloc, uno de los cuatro descendientes de la pareja original (Ometeotl, Omecíhuatl, 2 Señor, 2 Señora). El gobernante, el Tlatoani (Onahñä, en hañhñu), estaba vinculado con el rumbo oriente y con Tlaloc.

Tecpan: “The Government House”
This building was dedicated to political-administrative functions. In prehispanic times, these activities were sacred and in Pahñu they were related to Red Tezcatlipoca, Tlaloc, one of the four descendents of the original couple (Ometeotl, Omecíhuatl, 2 Sir, 2 Madam). The ruler,the Tlatoani (Onahñä, in Hañhñu), was linked with the east and with Tlaloc.
The ruler of Pahñu would be located in the center seat, with his back facing the location of the sunset (sic, sunrise).
