1. A Reminder of Days Past Marker
Inscription. Long after the Lake Shore Stone Company's quarrying operation had ceased, and the company town houses had been relocated to the Village of Belgium, an industrial chimney remained on this site. For many years it was the sole reminder of the early 20th century business that prospered here.

An industrial chimney once stood near this site. It was leveled in the 1970s.
