1st Brigade - Brigadier General William H. Lytle.
2nd Brigade - Colonel Bernard Laiboldt
3rd Brigade - Colonel Luther P. Bradley.
This Division marched from Pond Spring the morning of the 19th for Crawfish Springs. About 2 p.m. it was ordered to Lee and Gordon's Mill to replace Wood's Division, and upon arriving there it was ordered to proceed at once to Viniard's. Leaving Lytle's Brigade to hold the position at Lee and Gordon's Mill. Upon reaching Viniard's, soon after 4 o'clock, Bradley's Brigade was at once thrown into action to engage the enemy which had repulsed Davis. With the assistance of Wilder's Brigade and several batteries collected near Viniard's, the enemy, consisting of Trigg's Brigade of Preston's Division, and Benning's and Robertson's of Hood's Division, was driven back into the forest at sundown.
