Inscription.
Rocky Comfort, made the County Seat of Little River County in 1868, continued as such until 1880, when it was moved to Richmond and from there the Seat of Justice was moved to Ashdown.

Erected 1936 by Arkansas Centennial Commission and Arkansas History Commission. (Marker Number B-17.)
