1. Lynch Firehouse Marker
Inscription. This building, constructed of native sandstone, as were most of the mine structures, was completed about 1920.

Machine shop personnel served as firemen.

The second story of the firehouse quartered mining company personnel; usually ten to fifteen men.

The attached structure was an ambulance garage constructed in 1957.

Regarding Lynch Firehouse. The attached ambulance garage (referenced on the marker) is gone. The firehouse building is currently occupied by a retail gift shop.
