1. Pozer Garden Marker
Inscription. Pozer Garden honors Kitty Barrett Pozer, who owned the adjacent historic Ratcliffe-Allison House from 1927 until she bequeathed it to the City at her death in 1981. Mrs. Pozer had a lifelong interest in horticulture and was the Washington Post's gardening columnist for many years.

Location. 38° 50.799′ N, 77° 18.274′ W. Marker is in Fairfax, Virginia. Marker is on North Street (Virginia Route 236), on the right when traveling east. Marker found missing on 2/20/2017. Remembering my own mischievousness as a kid, I would guess that this marker was taken by youngsters for the homophonic hilarity value of a sign that sounds like "Poseur Garden". Perhaps it was relocated to the front yard of someone they know from school. My condolences to Mrs. Pozer's family for this disrespectful act. Touch for map. Marker is at or near this postal address: 10421 North St, Fairfax VA 22030, United States of America. Touch for directions.
