1. The Federal Building Marker
Inscription. This Georgian Revival post office and federal office complex, built to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community, provided office space for our Congressman, federal agencies, and later selective service and social security offices. Despite a major addition in 1936, its space became inadequate. It was converted to commercial use in 1987.
