1. Boaz House Marker
Inscription. Patricia A. Boaz (1922-1993) was an Associate Professor of Chemistry who began her career at IUPUI in 1967. She also served as Associate Dean in the School of Science, Director of the Adult Education Coordinating Center, and as Associate Dean of Faculties and Dean of Students at IUPUI. Dr. Boaz was a passionate teacher and a great student advocate. She had a special interest in helping non-traditional students succeed. She deservedly garnered many awards for her efforts on behalf of students, including recognition as an outstanding advisor from the National Academic Advising Association.
