Inscription. Built by American Car & Foundry, this two compartment, 70-ton capacity steel covered hopper was used to carry bulk items which needed protection from the elements. Cement, grain, dry chemicals, and plastic pellets are examples of typical cargo. Number 26640 was last used by the Diamond Shamrock Company to haul potassium carbonate and was donated in 1993 by ACF Industriest.
