Líder e iniciador de la Guerra de Castas
Luchó por una solución política para evitar muertes, pugnó por restablecer un gobierno maya independiente y liberar a su pueblo de la miseria y la explotación.
El gobierno lo declare “Gran Cacique de Yucatán”.

English translation:
Jacinto Pat
(1797-1849)
Leader from Tihosuco, Quintana Roo.
A leader and initiator of the Caste War.
He fought for a political solution to avoid deaths and also to reestablish an independent Mayan government that would free his people from misery and exploitation.
The government has declared him as the "Great Leader of the Yucatán".
