3. Site of British Soldiers' Barracks
The British Soldiers' Barracks were located at this site, which today is City Hall Park. The marker is on the sidewalk seen at the right of the photo.

4. Former British Soldiers' Barracks Marker
Another marker in the area had a laser etched picture of the barracks. Unfortunately, the image did not hold up well to foot traffic and it became very slippery when wet. It, and all similar markers, were removed.

5. British Soldiers' Barracks duplicate markers
Another pair of the markers appears behind City Hall at the north end of the western walkway. Reddish-brown marble blocks were used to indicate the perimeters of buildings that once stood on sites in the vicinity, with the informational markers set into them. This is one of the few survivors of that intent.
