Text on the Second Tablet:

The Battery followed Harker's Brigade and two sections took position on this line about 10 o'clock, firing 32 rounds with good effect. Soon after 11 o'clock, while the Brigade was moving by the left flank, the Battery opposite its center, the Confederates broke through the line, driving back guns, caissons and fragments of regiments in great disorder. The Battery being entirely cut off from the Brigade moved to the ridge west of the Dyer field, took position to play on the Confederates if opportunity offered, and when all Union troops in that part of the field had fallen back, followed them and encamped near Rossville. Casualties of the battle: 1 enlisted

More about this marker. I used the "Chickamauga Battlefield" map, that I purchased at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, Visitor Center, to determine both the marker number for this tablet and the tablet's location in relation to the rest of the park's monuments, markers, and tablets. According to the map it provides the, "numerical listing of all monuments, markers, and tablets on the Chickamauga Battlefield (using the Chick-Chatt NMP Monument Numbering System).”
