Descripción
Pieza de artillería de campaña de diseño frances, el cual fue desarrollado por el gral. francés Jean Baptiste Vaquette de Gribeauval. En el ejército, era traccionado en carruajes ligeros y con animales de tiro, disponía de tornillos de elevación de tiro, mejorando la puntería y su cadencia de tiro, fue empleado para la defensa de fortificaciones y tiro de asalto.

24-pound Gribeauval Cannon
Description:
A French-designed campaign artillery piece, which was developed by the French General Jean Baptiste Vaquette de Gribeauval. In the army it was carried by light carriages and with draft animals. It was equipped with lifting screws, improving the aim and firing frequency. It was employed for the defense of fortifications and also for supporting assaults.
