1. Chester Station Fight Marker
Inscription. At this station, two miles west, the Union army of the James, turning toward Richmond, fought an action on May 10, 1864 and tore up the railroad.
 
Erected 1927 by Conservation & Development Commission. (Marker Number S-17.)
