1. Confederate Burials Marker

Inscription. In this cemetery, following the siege and capture of Madrid Bend and Island No. 10, about 75 Confederate dead were interred. Others were buried on the island itself. Channel changes have now joined the island to Missouri.

Erected by Tennessee Historical Commission. (Marker Number 4B 25.)
