1. First Congregational Church Marker
Inscription. First Congregational Church, chartered in 1796, was the N.W. Territory's first organized church. Dedicated 1809 using Rufus Putnam's “Two Horn” plan, the first building burned in 1905. This church built 1906.
 
Erected by The Rotary Club of Marietta.
