1. Thaddeus Kosciuszko Marker
Inscription. After serving as a military engineer during the American Revolution, he later led an uprising in his native Poland. Exiled, the General resided in this house from November, 1797, to May, 1798.
 
Erected 1967 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 39° 56.604′ N, 75° 8.842′ W. Marker is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia County. Marker is at the intersection of Pine Street and 3rd Street, on the left when traveling east on Pine Street. Touch for map.
