3. 6-pdr Field Gun Model 1835
Cast in 1838, this 6-pdr Field Gun was a predecessor of the more common Model 1841 Field Gun. The gun was produced by Cyrus Alger of Boston, Massachusetts and bears the registry number 24.

4. Rifled 6-pdr Model 1841 Field Gun
On the right side of the tablet is a 6-pdr Model 1841 which was rifled during production in 1861. This gun has 10 lands and groves. Note the sight bracket on the breech for James style sights.
